The Employers’ Initiative on Domestic Abuse (EIDA) is delighted to welcome AXA UK as our newest Beacon member. AXA UK’s Beacon membership builds on their demonstrated commitment to their employees and customers impacted by domestic abuse.
AXA UK have offered support to employees impacted by domestic and sexual abuse since 2015. Last year they launched AXA Safe Spaces, a web-based awareness and training programme to help employers and employees create safe and supportive workplaces for people affected by domestic and sexual abuse. AXA have spoken at several dedicated sessions for EIDA members, and created a case study for EIDA members, to share the Safe Spaces training and help other workplaces take effective action to support their employees.

EIDA’s Beacon members are our most prominent advocates. They are leading culture change among UK employers by influencing and inspiring workplaces to make a difference to the lives of employees impacted by domestic abuse. Beacon members work closely with EIDA and our wider membership of over 2,000 employers to respond to domestic abuse within their organisations, help to raise standards among UK workplaces, and inspire other employers to take effective action.
