Collaborations

Working with others

EIDA partners with other organisations to help promote awareness of domestic abuse in the workplace, using different platforms, tools, campaigns and offers from partners.

BrightSky

with Rise for Change and Hestia

Bright Sky is a free app for anyone experiencing domestic abuse or who is worried about someone else. It helps to spot the signs, know how to respond and support someone to safety.

See here for information on the app from an EIDA Insight Hour.

You can download the app for free, from the App Store or Google Play

SME eLearning

with City of London Corporation

EIDA has developed an eLearning module for small and medium-sized employers (SMEs). This offers an accessible way for SMEs to engage and learn, providing the skills and knowledge to develop a domestic abuse response for their organisation, with limited time and resource.

This pilot module responds to feedback from EIDA members that they need step-by-step information and guidance to get them started on developing their response to domestic abuse. It is supported by evidence that the use of e-learning for SMEs is an effective way to improve an organisation’s activity.

Development of this e-learning was supported by funding from the City of London Corporation, an EIDA Beacon member.

You can sign up for the eLearning here.

Contact us if you would like more information, or would like to access the module.

SME training

with Vodafone and Hope After Harm

We were delighted to share the opportunity to attend fully funded CPD-accredited training to EIDA members with less than 250 employees. This was made possible through support from Vodafone Foundation and Rise for Change, the training arm of Hope After Harm.

Domestic abuse is everyone’s business. This training supported smaller employers to improve their response to victim-survivors of domestic abuse by upskilling staff to understand abuse, respond safely to disclosures and to know how to offer effective signposting and support within the boundaries of their job. The training was offered with the understanding that smaller organisations do not have the same resources to invest in training.

This opportunity is now closed, however see here for ongoing training offered by Rise for Change.

Black employees campaign

with Hersana, Sistah Space

In September 2025, EIDA ran a dedicated campaign to raise awareness of Black experiences of domestic abuse, in collaboration with Hersana and Sistah Space.

Our goal is to equip employers to support their Black employees affected by abuse; raise awareness of the impacts of systemic racism; amplify the voices of Black victim-survivors; and strengthen the visibility of specialist by-and-for support services. We continue to build on this campaign to spark important conversations about domestic abuse in the workplace, and how employers can support Black employees.
