As employers, we are often in a unique position to spot the signs of economic abuse and support employees affected.

This network event focussed on what economic abuse is, how we can best support those experiencing it and what we can do to help ensure economic safety across the workforce.

We heard from:

  • Sarah Dines MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Home Office and Minister for Safeguarding (pre-recorded speech)
  • Nicola Sharp-Jeffs, Founder and Chief Executive, Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA)
  • Jasbinder Kaur, Lead Trainer, Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA)
  • Anita Barnwell, Group Customer Inclusion, Lloyds Banking Group
  • Charlotte Budd, EIDA Ambassador
  • Shital V, EIDA Ambassador
