Please note: the closing date for this has now passed.
This is an exciting time to join EIDA, as we approach our 10-year anniversary. Our visibility is growing across employers, government, and the wider domestic abuse sector and there is an increased focus on domestic abuse since the Government published its new Freedom from Violence and Abuse strategy and action plan, in which EIDA membership is recommended.
We are a small team that works well together but that does not mean we all work in the same way. We genuinely value and respect the different ideas and contributions from our team members, Ambassadors, volunteers, trustees and our wider network, and this applies equally to prospective team members. If you do not meet every criterion set out in the job description but believe you can bring valuable transferable skills and experience to the role, we would love you to get in touch.
The role
This is a new role, funded for one year, that will strengthen EIDA’s evidence-informed resources and help employers take safer, more effective action on domestic abuse. Working across research, writing and resource development, you will ensure that EIDA’s guidance reflects the latest evidence, emerging practice and the needs of employers.
You will lead the review and development of EIDA’s Resource Bank, including updating the EIDA Handbook, producing new practical resources and evidence summaries, identifying gaps in existing content, and working with partners and subject matter experts to develop resources on priority topics.
The role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled researcher and writer who is passionate about translating evidence into practical action and making complex information accessible to busy employers.
